Lost another week
This is not what anyone wants to hear, or what I want to say, but a weekly dev blog is all about holding myself accountable. I did a lot of moving things and tax things and contract work and not a lot of SSDT development. I feel bad about this. This is a blog about me wishing I had more hours in the week. The worst of it is I’m right smack dab in the middle of getting the semifinals and finals working, so I have a broken build. The move is on the 31st, and I’ll still have to get my office set up. I think this is going to be a few more weeks of not being super productive on the SSDT front.
I would say my exercising has gone to hell as well, but some how I managed to log 20,000 steps on my Fitbit one day this week just from moving boxes around until my toe hurt and I was too exhausted to sleep. Then I had to meet the painter at 7:30 in the morning. Oh and we lost an hour this week too. Aside: can someone please outlaw changing the clocks for daylight savings time?
The good news is most of the move prep is getting finished and, with any luck, the contract work is going to wrap up soon. Oh and I paid the absolutely ridiculous $800 yearly fee for having an LLC in California. So Tipping Goat lives for another year. Stress is high and I need a few thousand hugs. I am hoping for a better next week.
